The W4 Joint [Wedge Four] is comprised of three cast bronze pieces that wedge four tapered legs into place.  This unique joint explores the limits of sandcasting and enables an engaging assembly experience that connects the sitter to the design and engineering behind the product.

I 3D printed the patterns for the female and male parts of the joint and hand turned the walnut legs.
